OUTREACH
The Small Business Program provides numerous opportunities for small businesses to meet with prime contractors and their peers. In 2007, the program launched a proactive and focused outreach effort to increase small business and DVBE participation on construction contracts, particularly the East Span. Participants attended four outreach events in 2007, and interacted with prime contractors and learn more about the unprecedented opportunities to work on the Bay Bridge.
The program continues to host outreach events, so check back often for information about upcoming events.
