SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The scope and scale of the San Francisco-Oakland San Francisco Bridge Seismic Safety Projects is as historic as it is awe-inspiring. Small businesses and Disable Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) are part of that history. Since the summer of 2006, the Toll Bridge Program has developed and cultivated the Small Business Program with ongoing input from the small business community and key stakeholders.
The Toll Bridge Program also appointed a dedicated manager focused solely on driving the success of the Small Business Program. This unique effort by a dedicated team is focused solely on increasing small business and DVBE participation. Since the program's inception, the team has worked tirelessly to reach out to entrepreneurs to educate and inform them about the opportunities available to work on the Bay Bridge.
